Two former executives at Gothenburg tram operator Göteborgs Spårvägar and a building manager have been arrested suspected of serious fraud. Private services for millions of kronor have been invoiced to the municipality-owned company.
One of the former executives is already suspected of having attested a fake invoice of 1.2 million kronor. The other former executive was for a period working as the first man's acting manager.
A manager from a large building company has also been arrested.
As in several previous cases in the bribing scandal, this case concerns costs for private services that have been billed to the municipality.
All three suspects were remanded in custody on Friday afternoon.
District prosecutor Anders Berndtson-Sandell told GP that he does not want to reveal any more details at this stage.
