Two weeks ago a white rhinocerous calf known as Zuri was born at Borås Zoo. On Thursday, she met the press.
The northern white rhinoceros is critically endangered and the rhinos at Borås are part of a breeding programme where Zuri is the eighth birth this year.
- Every birth is of great importance to the future of the programme, writes Borås Zoo in a press release.
Her mother Zinzi has been at Borås Zoo since 2002.
