Dubbel Dubbel

Street magazine Nöjesguiden, or the Entertainment Guide in English, announced the winners of its Göteborgspriset 2011 on Friday.

The 2011 best restaurant award went to the new dim sum bar Dubbel Dubbel in Linnéstaden. The quirky and popular Villafesten in Slottsskogen took out the club award while the street festival Andralåndagen took out the award for best meeting place.

The store Blue Jeans Company opened its doors in 2011. After only a few months it became a "natural meeting place for anyone with an interest in denim", according to Nöjesguiden. It was awarded the fashion/shopping award. Pustervik, a bar which attracts Gothenburg-legends, rookies, young and old, received an "honourary" award.

Majorna rapper Roffe Ruff received the music award while the film quiz Quizadillas where the questions and clues are portrayed by young actors, won the "joy spreader" award.

The prizes have been awarded by Nöjesguiden every year since 1993.
