September 9-18. It is time for Krogveckan again; a great opportunity to try out some of Gothenburg's finer dining options (and some of the cheaper ones too). 25 restaurants in Gothenburg will offer a two-course meal for only 200 kronor.

The organisers say the aim is to give people a chance to try new restaurants at a reasonable price. They also want to challenge the existing food culture in Sweden, where restaurant visits are often seen as a weekend entertainment only.

Reservations must be made through the website Bookatable, where you also can check out the restaurants' Krogveckan menues.
