Göteborg Daily asked our readers for their funniest or strangest Sweden experiences/observations. Christian Moraga sent us this story.
"The ticket system is not entirely new to me and I actually think it works well. But it's no good when your patiently waiting your turn amidst a big crowd only to realise you forgot to grab a ticket. Or when you see a shop full of "browsers" that turn out to be waiting in "line" just like you.
It took time, but I'm finally used to this ticket system that in Gothenburg is everywhere. You go to the bank, grab a ticket, the deli, grab a ticket, the jewellery shop, grab a ticket. About the only place you don't need one is at the pub.
If at first glance you don't see a ticket machine, take a good look or even ask someone working there. They're not always easy to find!"
