Gothenburg's English Speaking Theatre, GEST, has announced its spring production - the award winning version of Expectations.
Expectations is written by GEST's Kristina Brändén Whitaker, her debut as a playwright. It made its Swedish premiere in 2009 and in 2010 the GEST team took the play to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. There it won the Fringe Review Award for Outstanding Theatre.
The play is a comedy about two couples both expecting a baby. However, things don't turn out the way they had imagined.
Expectations is showing at Folkteatern between April 18 and May 12.
