A political scientist, a lawyer and an economist have been assigned to investigate the bribery culture in Gothenburg. The work will be carried out over a period of one year.
Erik Amnå, professor in political science, Lena Marucsson, professor in administrative law, and Barbara Czarniawska, professor in business administration, were presented at a press conference on Thursday.
The commission will start by establishing guidelines for how the investigation will be carried out.
Erik Amnå believes it will be very important to gain people's confidence.
"It's important to secure an independency so that people can trust us and so that no-one thinks this is a measure to polish the surface." (cited in P4).
The report will be presented by Midsummer 2013. The project will cost five million kronor in total.
