Slippery roads caused a number of accidents in Gothenburg on Tuesday morning. The accidents were followed by long queues at some places.
Two accidents involving heavy vehicles took place on the bridge Älvsborgsbron early in the morning. At around 6:30, a bus and a car collided in the lane towards the city centre. In the other direction, a truck trailer slid sideways and blocked the lanes.
Seven cars were involved in an accident on the E20 around 7:00. But no people were injured and the cars have been moved from the scene.
A salt truck started burning at Säröleden, but the fire is now extinguished.
Two cars and a truck collided at Oljevägen in Arendal.
At 7:15, a car and a truck collided in Tingstadstunneln in the southbound lane. No-one was injured but the accident resulted in long queues.
One person was taken by ambulance to hospital after a collision between a bus and a car at Varbergsvägen, Viskafors, at around 6:00.
At 7:50, two cars collided at Lundbyleden.
The slippery roads are also affecting the public transport.
At Chalmers, all buses stop in the public driving lane.
Bus 58 will not drive on Medicinaregatan. The bus stops Atmosfärsgatan and Stora Björn are cancelled, as well as the bus stops Sandås and Brottkärr.
Bus 60 will turn around at Prinsgatan and will not drive up to Masthugget.
Lila Express will not stop at Järnvågen in either direction.
