Trains cancelled between Gothenburg and Alingsås

A technical fault is causing large disruptions to train services between Gothenburg and Alingsås. Many trains have been cancelled.

A technical fault at the station Floda means that trains can only travel on one of the tracks. Passengers travelling on the route can expect lengthy delays, writes Göteborgs-Posten.

The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) hopes that services will return to normal by 6 pm on Thursday at the earliest.

The following trains are cancelled:
Train 3556 Lerum - Alingsås at 14:35
Train 3557 Alingsås - Lerum at 15:03
Train 3559 Alingsås - Lerum at 15:33
Train 3560 Lerum - Alingsås at 15:35
Train 3561 Alingsås - Lerum at 16:03
Train 3564 Lerum - Alingsås at 16:17
Train 3616 Gothenburg - Floda at 16:32
Train 3563 Alingsås - Gothenburg at 16:33
Train 3562 Lerum - Alingsås at 16:35
Train 3565 Alingsås - Lerum at 17:03
Train 3566 Lerum - Alingsås at 17:05
Train 3620 Gothenburg - Alingsås at 17:27
Train 3567 Alingsås - Lerum at 17:33
Train 3568 Lerum - Alingsås at 17:35
