A woman in her 50s died after being hit by a truck on Övre Husargatan in central Gothenburg on Friday.
The accident took place just after 11 am. The woman was riding a bicycle when she was hit by a truck. She received serious head injuries and was rushed to hospital. On Friday afternoon the police announced that the woman had died.
The damaged bike and the truck have been seized by the police. It is not yet known how the accident happened, writes Göteborgs-Posten.
The woman was registered at an address in Gothenburg and her family has been notified.
