Russell Brand to Gothenburg

Ben Kendall 2013-11-04

British comedian, actor and author Russell Brand has added two Swedish dates to his Messiah Complex world tour. Among them is a show at Lisebergshallen in Gothenburg on February 24, 2014.

Brand’s world tour, which began in June and continues through until at least April next year, includes shows in the US, Canada, South Africa and much of Europe.

According to the organiser Live Nation, Brand dissects various social and religious figures and the reality of their lives through comparisons of each other. His subjects include Che Guevara, Gandhi, Malcolm X and Jesus Christ.

Besides the Gothenburg show, Brand will also perform in Stockholm on December 8.
