Public transport discounts for all students, even those over 26. That was the message from the Association of Student Unions in Gothenburg (GFS), who travelled around on a specially chartered tram on Friday.
In Gothenburg, there is a youth discount on public transport, but no student discount for the near 10,000 full-time students over 26 years of age.
Helen Odenljung (FP), local government commissioner, was also onboard the tram with GFS. She told SR that she thinks it is a very good campaign and that the change would help Gothenburg continue its profile as an attractive student city.
