Shovan is from Bangladesh and is studying a Master's in Networking and Distributed Systems at Chalmers.
Why did you choose Chalmers and Gothenburg? I first heard about Gothenburg and Chalmers around 4 or 5 years ago through some other Bangladesh students who came here to study and they recommended it. Plus I was very interested in this course and had some previous work experience in the field. I also heard that Gothenburg was a big city - I'm from a very small town in Bangladesh.
What do you like to do during your spare-time in Gothenburg? I play the violin. Move around here and there. I sometimes go to Saltholmen, I also like Lilla Bommen. I went there for New Years and watched the fireworks. During the nights I either go and meet up with friends or play the violin.
How did you find somewhere to stay? I share an apartment with a friend at Rymdtorget, about 40 minutes from Chalmers. I found it before I arrived in Gothenburg, but it can be tough to do so from Bangladesh.
Do you have a part-time job? I distribute advertisement flyers two hours each Sunday. I heard about it through one of my friends.
