A new website, which aims to shorten the path to employment for foreign academics, will be presented at today's (Feb 25) job fair at the Museum of World Culture.
The new website is designed for immigrants with foreign education, who have not yet established themselves in their professional or educational area in Sweden. It includes information about validating and supplementing foreign education, how to apply for jobs and interview techniques, as well as information about the Swedish model and starting your own business.
- Previously, there has been no complete information about the conditions in the Swedish labor market for foreign academics. The site is an important tool that will help academics find their way on the Swedish labor market, says Ossian Wennström, investigator at Saco, the creators of the website.
The website will be presented at the booth of the County Administrative Board (Länstyrelsen) of Västra Götaland at 13:00 on Friday, February 25.
