Four people in their early 20s from Varberg in western Sweden have died in a car accident in Thailand. The two women and two men died when the car they travelled in collided with a truck at 7 in the morning local time on Wednesday.
The Swedes were on their way from Patong to Koh Tao when their taxi crashed into a truck that was driving on the wrong side of the road. The four Swedes and their driver were killed immediately in the accident. The truck driver fled from the scene after the collision, according to Thai media. The police are currently searching for the man.
