The injured ten-year-old girl is conscious, in a stable condition and has talked to her family. At the same time, the search for her attacker continues. Several rumours are circulating about the attack and the police do not yet have a clear picture of what happened.
"Everything is very vague," says a police officer to GP. "And in addition, information is in a vicious circle, where rumours become truths."
According to GP, the main police lead is still that a man walked up to the girl and stabbed her in the neck. There is some information that the stabbing was an accident, that the girl was holding a knife and then was pushed and got the knife in her neck. However, an anonymous police officer tells GP that there is nothing that implies this is what happened.
The police will question the stabbed girl as soon as she is strong enough to talk to them.
