Swedish bands Opeth and Nasum, as well as the reformed desert rockers Kyuss Lives! have been confirmed for Gothenburg's Metaltown festival in June.
Stockholm band Opeth are one Sweden's most influential metal bands. They have been around since the 1990s and in September last year released their tenth studio album Heritage.
Seven years after the tragic death of vocalist and songwriter Mieszko Talarczyk, Nasum will reunite for a special one off tour. Metaltown is one of few confirmed dates.
Cult band Kyuss are another band to reunite in 2012. Now performing under the name Kyuss Lives! the band includes original members Nick Oliveri and Brant Bjork.
Metaltown takes place June 15-16 at Göteborgs Galopp in Säve outside Gothenburg.
