Rancid confirmed. While its big brother Metaltown remains at Göteborg's Galopp, Gothenburg's punk and hardcore festival West Coast Riot (WCR) moves to Röda Sten in 2012. Rancid is among the first bands confirmed.

WCR was born in 2008 and has since been held in connection with the Metaltown Festival. Over the years WCR has attracted bands like NOXF, Bad Religion, Rise Against, Social Distortion and The Specials.

So far only three bands have been announced for this year's festival, which is held on July 26. The big name so far is Californian band Rancid who will make their first Swedish appearance in nine years. Florida's Against Me! And British band Gallows are also confirmed.

Ticket are 740 kronor and will be released on February 16.
