Cab driver shot in the back

Linda Genborg 2012-04-27

A cab driver was shot in the back on Thursday evening. He was seriously injured but is in a stable condition at Sahlgrenska Hospital. Two passengers were in the car at the time of the shooting, but they were not injured.

The alarm came around 23:00 on Thursday evening and the shooting took place close to Gårdsten’s centre.

The police are talking to several people who witnessed the shooting. But no arrests have been made so far and there are no suspects. At least one person was seen running from the scene.

Bullet holes were found in the taxi, which has been seized by the police.
